The HAD MAEHAD BEACH is also a very beautiful and white sand beach and by low water you can walk over a "natural dam of sand" to the nearby KO MA ISLAND. Maehad has not lost yet it's older state and touch. There is still the natural feeling like 20 years ago. You find cheap and nice wooden bungalows, aswell as luxery and newer stylish bungalows and houses for rent. On Ko Ma you will find the Ko Ma Dive Resort for Diving activity's. Maehad is for real backpacker, a little hideway and everything you need available, incl. the most famous diving site just at this beach, near Ko Ma. Amazing and beautiful. A lot of colorful fishes. Sometimes turtles. At the high season they coming as far as from Ko Samui to enjoy.

I like the Wang Sai Resort and the restaurant over a small lagune. Maehd Cove is a little more "outside"
