INFO to (KO PAYAM)

Ko Chang and Ko Payam are the northernmost islands of Thailand on the west coast of the Andaman Sea near the border with Myanmar. They are small but fine and still unknown. The nearly 600 residents live from cashew-nut cultivation and some rubber. There are only a small Sea-Gypsee village on Ko Payam with a small shop, no cars and roads and no nightlife (except some nice party's ;-). A few trails lead from coast to coast and invite to discover the island on foot. The moped is fast in every place. Otherwise is called and known for, the soul of the beautiful long sandy beaches to dangle, to snorkel or dive. A lot of Hornbill birds can be seen in the early morning on some big tree's.

The beach is beautiful white sand beach situated in the west of Ao Yai. There is also the most simple Resorts. In the north around the island is small 70qkm buffalo Bay (Ao Khao Kwai), which at low tide the water is completely missing. In addition, around the island and other small isolated sandy coves.

Ko Chang is not quite as beautiful as co Payam, but much more natural and with a small and FROM DENS JUNGLE COVERED 370m high mountain equipped. There are several beaches around the island, but not so beautifully white ;-)
